Sarah Asada is a Professor at Kyoritsu Women’s University. Her research encompasses comparative international higher education, internationalization, and the sociocultural context of education. Dr. Asada’s recent book, 50 Years of US Study Abroad Students: Japan as the Gateway to Asia and Beyond (Routledge, 2020), is the 2020 Best Book Award recipient from the CIES Study Abroad and International Student SIG. She has collobrated on research with JICA-RI and UNESCO.
