Rita Z. Nazeer-Ikeda

Rita Z. NAZEER-IKEDA, Ph.D., is a Research Fellow at Waseda University and an Affiliate Faculty member at George Mason University. She began her career as an educator and Head of Department (IT) in Singapore and has since spent over two decades engaged in international capacity building, research, consultancy, and community service across Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, the U.K., and the U.S. Her work focuses on teacher education and education policies in Southeast Asia, with particular attention to international education for peacebuilding. She is the author of Internationalization of Teacher Education and the Nation State (Routledge, 2020; 2022).
