Lauren Noelani Nakasato

Lauren Nakasato is an Assistant Professor at the Tohoku University Graduate School of Education in Sendai, Japan. A researcher in the field of comparative and international education, she is interested in how international higher education can enable us to learn to live together in a diverse and interconnected world. Grounded in over a decade of experience as a practitioner in the field, her research focuses on global citizenship as a concept and as an outcome of higher education internationalization in Japan and Asia.
